I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and pay my kind regards to our Honourable Director sir, the faculties, honourable guests and the students of IIIT Allahabad who made the orientation camp a centre for success, learning and the holistic development of every individual. I would also like to extend my thanks to the Committee nominated by the Senate for drafting a suitable syllabus and effectively planning the camp.

Students’ Gymkhana has always offered its support to the decisions which are made for the all-round development of the students. Being a student myself, I have always felt that IIIT Allahabad offers a surrounding that has helped the students to excel in every sphere of life and this Orientation Camp, surely helped the students in integrating themselves into the Institute and feel like an inclusive part of the IIIT-A family.

The various tech, cultural, co-curricular and spiritual orientation sessions were fruitful to the students in realising the importance of various activities in life. It was very heartwarming to witness the sheer excitement and enthusiasm from the students which kept us motivated in making it a fun and learning experience. Students also realised what positive impact these sessions can have on their personal and professional lives. Orientation camp helps in ensuring smooth transition of students from their school life to an institute of national importance. As a fresher, students face many problems in integrating themselves to a different environment and I am glad that the Orientation Camps helped the students to work on themselves and make them more equipped to face the new challenges.

In the end, I would like to pay special thanks to Dr. Neetesh Purohit sir and all the committee members for their continuous efforts and guidance all along the way which helped in making this Orientation Camp, a centre for learning and development.
